Terms of Service

These terms govern the relationship between Malwa Drymasters and clients receiving quotes, assessments, or restoration services. Project-specific contracts may supplement these terms.

Scope of service

Malwa Drymasters provides water damage restoration, structural drying, mold remediation, fire and smoke restoration, sewage cleanup, leak detection, and related restoration services across Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove, Leduc, and the greater Edmonton area. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Final contract terms including pricing, scope, and schedule are set out in the signed project agreement.

Quotes and estimates

Free assessments and written quotes carry no obligation. We may revise a quote if site conditions discovered during the work differ materially from those visible during the initial assessment, such as hidden moisture, structural damage, or mold growth behind walls. Such revisions are discussed with the client before work proceeds.

Warranty

Restoration workmanship carries a warranty against defects caused by our installation and drying work, as set out in the project agreement. Manufacturer warranties on equipment and materials supplied as part of the project pass through to the client. Warranty claims should be reported in writing via the contact form on our website or by calling (780) 555-0134.

Warranties do not cover damage from new water intrusion, ongoing leaks, structural settlement, owner modifications, or improper maintenance after the work is complete.

Liability

Liability is limited to the value of the contract for the project in question. We do not accept liability for consequential damages, lost income, or pre-existing conditions on the property. We maintain general liability insurance and WCB coverage.

Cancellation

Clients may cancel a signed project agreement within 10 days of signing without penalty in accordance with Alberta's Consumer Protection Act. Cancellation after equipment mobilization or material ordering is subject to restocking and mobilization fees.

Governing law

These terms and any project agreement are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Alberta. Disputes will be addressed in the courts of Alberta.
